Laurence Hilsum began with classical dance when she was 5 years old. It gave her a solid basis which enabled her to swiftly transition into contemporary followed by hard work and the eventual application for an instructor diploma, in 2004. Afterwards, Laurence entered the Rick Odums academy in Paris achieving a degree in modern jazz. In the same year, she was introduced to the world of pole dance and began practicing on her own. It paid off as offers came for performances and TV shows and in 2006 she became a pole dance teacher at Pink school, the first pole dance school in France. Apart from producing the first French DVD on pole dance, Lolo (Laurence’s nickname) began to travel the world, participating in international competitions and ultimately becoming a triple French champion and a double vice champion of the world. She scored 3rd at PoleArt 2013 with her mesmerizing style and unique elegance. In 2011, Laurence opened her own pole dance studio in Paris, the biggest one to date in France.
